The 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe is all-new with improved aerodynamics, a more efficient direct-injection EcoTec3 powertrain, new safety features and advanced technology. The new Tahoe design is more aerodynamic and refined, and no longer shares any sheet metal or lighting elements with the Silverado pickup.

The 5.3-liter V8 engine features direct injection, cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing to balance the need for power and fuel efficiency. Improved engine mounts, electronic throttle control, adaptive exhaust systems and other technologies help the engines operate in four-cylinder mode more often. The engine is mated to a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission, featuring TapShift control, Tow/Haul mode and Auto Grade Braking.

The new Tahoe features fold-flat second- and third-row seats with an available power-folding feature. Second-row passengers receive an additional two inches of legroom. Inside a new instrument panel offers an available eight-inch color touch screen radio with a secured storage bin behind the motorized screen. The center console is designed to store a laptop or iPad.

Eighteen-inch wheels are standard with 20- and 22-inch wheels offered as factory options. The LTZ trim features third-generation magnetic ride control suspension.
